Is this the official Health Insurance Marketplace website?
No. This website is operated by Alejandro Associates LLC and is not the Health Insurance Marketplace® website. Your enrollment is always completed through the official Marketplace. The full disclaimer is at the bottom of this page, and you can always go directly to HealthCare.gov.
Does this cost me anything?
No. Licensed agent help is free, and your monthly premium is exactly the same with or without me. The difference is having one person who compares your options, checks your doctors, and answers the phone all year, in English or Spanish.
Why do you not ask for my Social Security number or date of birth?
Because a public web form is the wrong place for them. This check-in only collects what I need to prepare your options. Anything more sensitive is handled later through secure channels, after you have approved the plan we picked together.
Who sees my answers?
Your answers come straight to my office through the secure systems I use to run my practice, and nowhere else. They are never sold, never given to call centers, and never passed to other agents. One licensed agent, one phone number, no strangers.
Can my plan be changed without my permission?
Never. Federal rules require agents to document your consent before touching a Marketplace application, and I go further: before anything is submitted or switched, you review it and sign off. Nothing changes until you say yes.
What if my income changes during the year?
Tell me and I update your Marketplace application, so your subsidy stays accurate and you never owe money back at tax time. Keeping that number honest is a core part of how I look after clients.

Enrollment periods
Marketplace Open Enrollment for a plan year generally runs from November 1 to January 15 in most states, and some states extend it. Outside Open Enrollment, new coverage or plan changes typically require a Special Enrollment Period triggered by a qualifying life event such as moving, marriage, a new child, or loss of other coverage. Submitting this check-in does not enroll you in any plan.
